CHAPTER NEWS - NOVEMBER 2009
Chapter Chairman’s Notes
The second chapter meeting of the 2009-2010 AFS sessions was held on Tuesday, October 13th, 2009 at the Microtel Inn. Mike Reesman of Miller and Company was our guest speaker. He is a Salesman for Miller. His talk was “Melt Deck Challenges in the Cast Iron Processing”; Twenty seven people attended the meeting. The coffee talk sponsor was Randy Aynes from Hill & Griffith Company. During the evening it was announced that a member of the board, Jack Wymer, had received the Keating Founders Freedom Award at the Executive Conference. Jack has done a lot of great things for our industry and we are honored to have him on our Board.
Our speaker for the November meeting will be Pete Satre of Allied Mineral Products, Inc. His topic will be Raw Material Pricing. It should be very interesting and I look forward to seeing everybody there.
If you are planning to attend the meeting, please RSVP to the e-mail notices so we can cater the right amount of food. Please
remember that you don’t have to be a member to attend.
Thank you for your support.
David Clark
