Career:
Over ten years experience in office support in collegiate setting at Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Indiana. Faculty support in scheduling, travel, research and evaluation. Student support in advising, scheduling and work supervision. Conference support in registrations, scheduling and travel arrangements. Financial support in operating budgets, grants, and foundation accounts.

Over four years experience in administration in nonprofit sector. Production management of weekly church broadcast, design experience and grant coordinator for state-funded programs.

LaKina joined the School of Engineering and Technology at IUPUI in May of 2007 as Office Coordinator for the Department of Biomedical Engineering.
