The Office of Career Services and Professional Development for the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology, IUPUI requires all students participating in On-Campus Interviewing to keep their scheduled appointments. Do not submit your resume to an on-campus interview if the assigned date will not allow you to be present at the interview. DO NOT sign up for an interview schedule unless you are certain that you will be able to make your appointment.
If you do not appear for your interview, your actions reflect poorly on you as an individual and on the University as a whole. Not only do you inconvenience the employer, but you may also deprive another student of a valuable interview opportunity. These situations, if unchecked may also have more serious implications on the University's relationships with employers overall.
Therefore, the Career Services Office treats these incidents very seriously and advises you to take special note of the following Cancellation and Missed Interview Policy.
INTERVIEW CANCELLATION POLICY
You may remove yourself from an interview schedule on E&T Careers, www.engrtechcareers.com anytime before the end of the online sign-up period. No cancellations are allowed after the sign-up period ends. Be sure to pay attention to the sign-up schedule for each position.
