Bachelor of Science

In addition to providing general education, the degree is designed to develop critical skills in three main areas: engineering, construction science, and management. In particular, the degree would further students' knowledge in construction management, project controls, construction scheduling, construction cost estimating, bidding process, construction contract administration, specification writing, field operations, economics, construction law, business management, written and oral communications.

A student needs to complete 124 credit-hours to earn this degree. An internship experience is also a graduation requirement. The program attracts an equal number of full-time and part-time students, and encourages completing this degree while engaged in construction-related employment. A full-time student should be able to complete this degree in approximately four years.

Course sequence could be viewed in the Study Plan and complete listing of classes could be viewed in the course listing.

Our Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Engineering Management Technology is conferred by the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology, and is accredited by the Technology Accreditation Commission, ABET, 111 Market Place, Suite 1050, Baltimore, MD 21202, (410) 347-7700.
