The Bachelor of Science degree in construction covers 3 major areas: 1) Construction Science, 2) Engineering, 3) Business. Examples of Construction Science courses include cost estimating, project scheduling, equipment management, construction safety, and contract administration. Examples of Engineering courses include surveying, strength of materials, formwork design, concrete design, and soils and foundations. Examples of Business courses include construction accounting, business correspondence, public speaking, human relations, and supervision.
