The Internet revolution has transformed the way that we live, work, and play! Internet brands such as Google and Yahoo! have forced established companies such as Microsoft to re-examine their business models and products in order to compete in the Internet revolution. Internet competitors such as Amazon.com have competed successfully against “bricks and mortar” companies such as Wal-Mart. The Internet is here to stay!

But, we have only begun to tap the potential of the Internet so we can expect that succeeding generations of the World Wide Web will be increasingly disruptive. The Department of Computer and Information Technology at IUPUI ( CIT@IUPUI.edu ) is committed to preparing its graduates to prosper in this exciting future.
