ABET / TAC
|
|
ABET (the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) has developed a
set of learning outcomes used to guide faculty in assessing the effectiveness
of academic programs. CPT is using ABET's Technology Accreditation Commission's
(TAC) criteria to help us assess student learning in our courses. The ABET/TAC
learning objectives listed for each course will help students understand what
general skills and knowledge they are expected to have demonstrated upon
completion of the course.
|
|
ABET / TAC outcomes:

Demonstrate an appropriate mastery of the knowledge, techniques, skills and
modern tools of their discipline.
-

science, engineering and technology.
-
Conduct, analyze and interpret experiments and apply experimental results to
improve processes.
-
Apply creativity in the design of systems, components or processes appropriate
to program objectives.
-
Function efectively on teams.
-
Identify, analyze and solve technical problems.
