CIT Program Educational Objectives (PEO) provide broad statements of what CIT graduates will know and be able to do within 3-5 years after graduation. They are based on the needs of our constituents and were developed after consultation with our faculty and Industrial Advisory Board.
CIT Graduates will:
PEO-1. Adapt to new technologies and changing organizational and user needs.
PEO-2. Assess organizational needs and design, implement, and evaluate solutions to meet those needs.
PEO-3. Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences in a variety of oral and written formats
PEO-4. Engage in continuing education and lifelong learning.
PEO-5. Provide leadership, project management, and/or professional consultation for IT-related projects and services.
PEO-6. Work effectively both individually and collaboratively in face-to-face, virtual and hybrid environments.
PEO-7. Maintain and enhance technical expertise and apply relevant best practices.
