Description
This web-based course provides students with a working knowledge of the terminology, processes, and components of information systems development, and hands-on experience with the Internet and World Wide Web as well as state-of-the-art hardware and software.

Objectives
  • To learn the terminology of information systems.
  • To become intelligent consumers of PCs and related products.
  • To prepare students to travel the information superhighway.
  • To be able to participate in conversations about computers and technology.
  • To be able to relate their computing and information processing needs to IS professions.
