Introduction to Human Aspects of Interaction
- Define the major issues of human perception, memory, and psychology and the impact they have on interaction
- Explain the importance of a user-centered approach to design
- Explain the differences that arise between different kinds of users and the effect this has on HCI
Requirements Specification and Task Analysis
- Learn how to write and administer effective user and stakeholder questionnaires and interviews
- Administer a user questionnaire and analyze and summarize the results
- Define the primary functions of a proposed interface based on user feedback
- Learn about field observation techniques
Introduction to Human Aspects of Interaction
- Define the different input and output technologies used in HCI
- Explain the benefits and drawbacks of each interaction technology and technique
Exploration of HCI Topics
- Research a topic relevant to HCI
