NEW Certificate: Computer Technology Applications Certificate
The Computer Technology Applications Certificate (CTAC) is ideal for degree-seeking university students wishing to combine their intellectual capabilities with I. T. skills in preparation for serving in a knowledge-based economy. CTAC also will serve returning students seeking a standalone certificate to complement their professional endeavors.
Certificate holders will develop the background to create professional, effective communications for use in a knowledge based economy using industry-standard software application programs

Information Technology Certificate Program
The Information Technology (IT) Certificate focuses on the principles and techniques used to develop Web-based business applications. Courses cover the application development life cycle, including analysis, design, coding, and implementation. Upon completion of the IT Certificate, students will have the background to become a junior Web developer.

Network Security Certificate
The Network Security Certificate (NSC) provides information assurance and security education and training to students and professionals. Information assurance and security professionals are responsible for the policies and technologies used to safeguard the information systems infrastructure of a company. This NSC program is hands-on and requires students which have some networking and systems experience. Completion of the NSC will provide students with a solid foundation in security techniques and prepare participants to work in information assurance and network security.
