E-Commerce Development Certificate Program

The E-Commerce Development Certificate is a great opportunity to learn the more advanced techniques for developing Web-based applications. This program is targeted for individuals that already have a foundation in the application development world, either through experience or coursework, and are now ready to extend this knowledge into the world of e-commerce. This very exciting program is offered through the Department of Computer and Information Technology in the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology, IUPUI.

GETTING STARTED

If you are already an IUPUI student: Begin by visiting Insite to find out when the required courses are available. Then, register for the courses that you are interested in as you would any other course offered at IUPUI. If you are NOT an IUPUI student: For detailed information about registering for a course, visit the page on how to register at IUPUI. Then, simply visit Insite to find out when the required courses are available. You can then register for the courses that interest you.

COURSES

The E-Commerce Development Certificate consists of two threads:

ASP.Net Track: This track will focus on developing Web sites that utilize the new Microsoft .Net Framework.

Java Track: This track will focus on developing Web sites that utilize Java Beans and Java Server Pages
