Education Aid's Support Single Father Scholarship
This is a $5,000 Scholarship Program that will be awarded to to a single father that is enrolled in an accredited post-secondary institution or job training program. This Scholarship Program was created by Education Aid to help economically disadvantaged students who are at risk of dropping out of school due to a lack of financial support. The funding for this Scholarship Program came from a donation made by CUnet (a Nelnet Company). The Scholarship Program funds will be distributed during the 2013-2014 academic school year.

The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation administers scholarship programs of several Marine Corps associations that offer scholarships to the grandchildren of their members. To qualify a student must provide proof of their grandparent’s membership in one of the following associations AND meet our standard eligibility criteria. There are no exceptions.

Executive Women International Adult Students Scholarship

Awards are provided for the recipients’ education and related expenses to aid them in obtaining the necessary educational skills to help achieve career goals and objectives. Related expenses include tuition, books and mandatory fees from schools (such as lab fees). Not included are such things as rent, utility payments, travel expense, personal computers, or repayment of student loans. Checks for Chapter and Corporate scholarship awards are paid directly to the respective college or university. Scholarship awards are valid for two years from date granted. Unclaimed awards will be returned to the Chapter or Corporate B/C/DP accounts for redistribution.
Selection criteria includes, but is not limited to, the following:
· Financial need
· Socially, physically and economically challenged adults
· Responsible for small children
Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:
· Clearly define career goals and objectives
· Specify the educational requirements to attain the above goals and objectives
· Utilize re-entry programs available through colleges/universities, community agencies and service groups or career professionals
· 18 years of age or older
· Applicant must reside within the boundaries of an EWI Chapter. This includes the counties of Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Marion, Morgan and Shelby.

Alma S. Adams Scholarship
Deadline: April 30, 2013
Awards will be granted on a competitive basis for the following:a) a record of commitment to community service on behalf of an underserved population related to tobacco prevention and/or control andb) the best use of visual arts, media, creative writing or other creative endeavor to convey culturally appropriate health messages aimed at raising community awareness of tobacco’s harmful impact. Entries may include creative writing, a musical composition or a sample from a visual arts medium.
Scholarship Criteria:
1. Applicants must provide evidence of community service activities in an underserved community setting.
Service activities may include activism, outreach, or peer counseling in tobacco prevention or control. The
community service activity should be described in the personal statement and (see application instructions on
page 5).
2. Applicants must submit documentation of financial need for scholarship funds (SAR report).
3. Students pursuing a course of study in public health, communications, social work, education, liberal arts or a related field will be considered eligible.
4. Applicants must have a Grade Point Average of at least a 3.0 (B average) for the most recent academic year.

Charter One Bank will be offering its 3rd annual TruFit Good Citizen Scholarship, awarding a total of $50,000 in college scholarships to 40 students across the country for the 2013-14 academic year! NHSC Scholarship for serving communities

The 2013 NHSC Scholarship Program application cycle is now open through Tuesday, May 14.
The NHSC Scholarship Program (SP) awards scholarships each year to students pursuing careers in primary care. In return, students commit to serving for two to four years, upon graduation and completion of training.

Undergraduate Graduation Incentive Grant Application

Purpose:The Graduation Incentive Grant which provides up to $2,500 per semester is designed to support continuing undergraduate IUPUI students towards the completion of their first undergraduate degree by May 2014. This grant may be received for up to two semesters.
Eligibility:Students must meet the following criteria:
Student must be a rising/current senior IUPUI undergraduate student previously enrolled part-time (completed less than 12 credit hours per semester) for the 2012-2013 academic year
Student should be seeking their first bachelor degree
Student will enroll full-time for the Fall 2013 semester
Students should:
Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Have 30 credit hours or less left to complete their undergraduate degree at IUPUI
Could graduate within one academic year if they began attending fulltime
Student must have financial need with a FAFSA on file at IUPUI (EFC of $15,000 or less)
Student must have this form completed by an academic advisor

Rogers Community Volunteer Scholarship

PURPOSE
The main goal of the Rogers Community Volunteer Scholarship is to inspire young people to make contributions to their individual communities, while providing awards to those who are currently making a positive difference in their own neighborhoods, towns and cities.
ELIGIBILITY
1. To be eligible a student must be attending school full-time in the fall and can be enrolled in any level of their undergraduate degree program. High School seniors who will graduate this year are considered eligible. *Trades and Technical students must be attending a program that is at least 4 years in length.
2. A student must also possess a GPA of 2.5 or higher in his/her last academic year.
3. A student must have contributed at least 10 hours of volunteer (non-paid) service within his/her community over the last 12 months with one organization. Please ensure that you have completed this amount of hours with One organization and that a person within that organization is willing to confirm that you have volunteered this amount of time. (Note that we will only contact the organization in the event that you are chosen as the scholarship award winner.)
4. A student must be a resident of Canada or the United States and must attend a school in Canada or the United States.
AAIA Scholarship

The Association on American Indian Affairs (AAIA) scholarship season is in full swing. We are a 92 year old national Native service and advocacy organization focusing on youth/education, language and cultural preservation and sovereignty. We awarded our first scholarship in 1948 and currently have 7 scholarship programs for undergraduate and graduate students from federally recognized and non-recognized tribes. Applications are being accepted now through June 3. American Muscle Scholarship program

AES Engineering Scholarship

Our belief is that achieving a high grade point average should not be the only criteria for determining who deserves to be helped. For that reason we are offering a scholarship that will be awarded on the basis of character, as determined by evaluated the essays that are submitted.
Scholarships are intended for our future leaders across a wide spectrum of fields of study. This award is available to high school seniors and all students attending a post secondary educational facility.

We are able to offer a free Tutoring program to our members, solely because of the time and effort of volunteer Tutors. Members who sign up to be tutored range from Kindergarten to 7th grade and would receive only one hour of tutoring per week. To show our gratitude those volunteers who complete 3hrs per week for entire school year will be eligible for a $500 to $1,000 scholarship, rewarded directly to them.
To be eligible for the scholarship opportunity volunteers must be at least a Sophomore in High School or must be enrolled in continuing education/college courses at least part-time student. The tutoring schedule is flexible with your schedule, however must be within Boys & Girls Club hours and working days. Volunteers will need to fill out an application and all applicants 18yrs. or over must supply a Criminal History Check.
