Our society is one of swift change and advancements especially in the areas of engineering and technology. Students will face vast transformation and opportunity as they pursue careers in industry. The purpose of the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology, IUPUI, is to be one of the best urban university leaders in the disciplines of engineering and technology. It is the goal of the School to provide students an education that will give them the leverage to be leaders in their communities, industry and society.
The Purdue School of Engineering and Technology, IUPUI, offers many important amenities. Situated in a large urban campus, the School offers class sizes that are small and schedules that are flexible. In addition, the very diverse make-up of the class body offers varying perspectives. The School offers excellent scholarships, assistantships, fellowships, internships and a co-op program. Leadership and volunteer experiences are mixed with outstanding academic programs making the School superior in producing well rounded students and future employees.
The Purdue School of Engineering and Technology is the largest degree-granting school on the IUPUI campus, with over 2,400 students pursuing any of over 40 Purdue degree options from certificate programs to masters and doctorate degrees. Over 28,500 students from 115 nations and 46 states attend classes on the IUPUI campus in more than 180 academic programs. The School provides both the individual attention of a small school and the benefits of a large campus. As a School we work very hard to build relationships with organizations that will assist students with their education and research goals.
