What is Computer Engineering?

Computer engineering (CE) is an evolutionary degree program that has emerged from electrical engineering and computer science that deals with the many aspects of computer systems. This degree program combines analytical skills, hardware expertise, and software knowledge. Computer engineers may design computer systems, networks, operating systems, or software.

Careers in Computer Engineering

Computer engineering graduates will be prepared to enter the workforce at a high level of responsibility and will qualify for jobs related to a number of computer engineering areas such as embedded systems design, software engineering, pervasive computing applications, and designing and developing new networking technologies.
