What is Electrical Engineering?
Electrical Engineering is much more than just building electrical circuits. Electrical engineers are responsible for integrating electronic devices, computer systems, and electricity into all aspects of our daily lives. The Electrical engineering program is designed to prepare students to work in sectors where electrical engineering expertise is needed in computers, information processing, circuit and robotics, communications, biomedical engineering, energy systems, and manufacturing.

Electrical Engineers qualify for jobs related to many areas of electrical engineering such as wireless communications, TV/video compression applications, VLSI design, medical instrumentation, power and control devices, computer integrated manufacturing, intelligent controls based on expert systems and neural networks, advanced microprocessor applications, micro-controllers, sensors, transducers and microactuators, and computer control of machines and processes
