Dr. Lauren Christopher Gives Keynote Address
Dr. Lauren Christopher gave the keynote address at the Women's History Month Leadership Awards Reception on March 27, 2013. In celebration of Women’s History Month, women leaders on campus were honored at the annual reception. Nominations were solicited from across campus and Outstanding Women Leadership Awards were presented to faculty, staff and students.

Nathaniel Girrens selected as a 2012/13 PES Scholarship Plus recipient!
The IEEE Power & Energy Society Scholorship Plus Initiative chose Nate Girrens (BSEE, Dec. 2012) as one of their 2012/13 receipients. This scholarship is awarded to only the brightest achievers at only a handful or universities across the nation. Nate earned this honor through his outstanding research effort in Dr. Afshin Izadian's Energy Systems and Power Electronics Laboratory, and his publications in the IEEE Conferences and Transactions.
