What is Biomedical Engineering Technology?

The Biomedical Engineering Technology (BMET) program blends electrical engineering technology fundamentals with the unique demands of the health-care environment. Biomedical electronics technicians play an important role as a link between the medical profession and the field of electrical engineering technology.

The program satisfies the educational requirements of the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) and the Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) license.
