Electrical & Computer Engineering Technology Electrical Engineering Technology Program

Electrical Engineering Technology Degree Programs You can earn a Purdue University Associate of Science or a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technology at IUPUI. Both programs are accredited by the Technology Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology, 111 Market Place, Suite 1050, Baltimore, MD 21202-4012 - telephone: (410) 347.7700.

The two-year Associate of Science (A.S.) degree program will prepare you for employment as an engineering technician in a wide variety of electronics, electrical and related fields. The associate degree program will also prepare you for admission to the Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree program in Electrical Engineering Technology.

The bachelor's degree program requires two additional years of study in electrical engineering technology and related technical and non-technical subjects. Graduates of this degree program are qualified for high-level positions in industry as engineering technologists.

Graduates work in diverse industries such as automotive electronics, telecommunications, energy and power, aerospace, medical electronics, computers, broadcasting, factory automation, consumer electronics, robotics and instrumentation.

All ECET courses are taken at the main IUPUI campus just a mile from downtown Indianapolis. Programs can be completed on a part-time or full-time basis. IUPUI classes are available days and evenings.
