We are pleased to inform everyone that Dr. Rajashekara, Adjunct Professor of ECE has received the 2009 IEEE Industry Applications Society Outstanding Achievement Award. He was officially recognized at the 2009 IEEE IAS 44th Annual Meeting in Houston, Texas on Oct 6, 2009. On behalf of ECE, we extend our congratulations to him for this prestigious award and recognition.
Dr. Raja has been collaborating with ECE for the past 14 years in both research and teaching areas. He served as a member and chair of the ECE Industrial Advisory Board. Most recently, he has developed a new graduate level course in energy systems which attracts many students. His expertise and talents are very instrumental to the growth of our teaching and research activities in the areas of energy systems and electric transportation. His contributions to the department are greatly appreciated.
