International Student Graduate Application
Use this checklist to help you in gathering the required materials for your application for admission.

APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION AND CHECKLIST :
IUPUI electronic application (website: http://www.iupui.edu/~resgrad/grad/onlineapp.htm).
Graduate application fee of US$60. Pay application fee with a valid credit card, if applying online.
A photocopy of your current visa documents, if you are already in the U.S.A.
ACADEMIC DOCUMENTS :
Two (2) official academic transcripts in official language of home country, from all universities or colleges attended. (Do not include secondary or high school transcripts.) Print and use the form "Request for Official Transcript" from the follwing Web site to request transcripts: http://www.gradschool.purdue.edu/admissions/apply.cfm.
Two (2) official English translations of academic transcripts, if official language of home country is not English.
Two (2) official copies of undergraduate (bachelor's) degree diploma received in official language of home country.
Two (2) official English translations of undergraduate (Bachelor's) degree diploma received, if official language of home country is not English.
Official TOEFL score report to be sent from testing agency (ETS) directly to IUPUI.
Official GRE score report to be sent from testing agency (ETS) directly to IUPUI.
Three (3) recommendations for admission. The Purdue University Graduate School "Recommendation for Admission" forms must be used. A letter may be attached to supplement each completed recommendation form. Print the forms "Recommendation for Admission" to use for your recommendations: http://www.gradschool.purdue.edu/admissions/apply.cfm
Statement of Purpose. A 400-word essay summarizing your academic background, professional experience if relevant, educational goals and objectives, and detailing your specific area/s of interest in graduate study.
FINANCIAL DOCUMENTS :
Form " Financial Information for International Students " (printable format) to be completed by you and your sponsor.
Official letter or statement from a bank verifying that your sponsor has required funds to pay total expenses/cost for at least two years. Submit a recent, original bank letter or bank statement. Original only. Photocopies or fax copies are not acceptable. Or,
If you have a government or institutional scholarship: Provide an official letter from the sponsoring agency that specifies the amount of the award or scholarship.
