Greetings!

On behalf of the Purdue School of Engineering & Technology, IUPUI, I would like to welcome you to our Cooperative Education and Internship Program!

Did you know that 83 percent of Fortune 500's Top 100 employs internships as a strategy to find talent in today's tight labor market?

A large number of companies looking to expand their businesses in the new millennium are hiring an undergraduate student of their choice for a co-op or internship in order to stay 1-3 years ahead of the competition. This early opportunity can mean finding that individual to join your team, giving them the chance to gain more knowledge about company and business, before someone else has the chance to hire them after they receive their degree.

I invite you to take a minute and read over the enclosed “Top 10” list. It further highlights why hiring our co-ops/interns means smart business for your company.

As the excitement of gearing up for the upcoming semester continues to grow, we are looking forward to welcoming new students to our program…students who are eager to apply engineering and technology concepts learned in the classroom to real-world problems and applications in industry.
