Visiting Lecturers Needed!

Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis, School of Engineering and Technology, invites applications for two Visiting Lecturers beginning in the fall 2013. The Purdue School of Engineering and Technology, is one of America’s premier urban schools of engineering and technology, recognized regionally, nationally, and internationally for its excellence in teaching and learning.

Mechanical Engineering Technology:  We are seeking an individual able to teach a range of courses in applied engineering with expertise in CAD, finite element analysis, and mechanics.

Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology:  We are seeking an individual able to teach a range of courses in applied engineering with expertise in industrial controls, automation and instrumentation.

Qualifications:  Candidates should have at least 3 years of relevant work experience and hold an M.S. in Engineering, Technology, or a related field. Permanent Residency or U.S. Citizenship status is required.  

Position duration:  The positions will be available August 1, 2013. The initial appointment will be for one academic year, renewable for up to two years based on performance.
