Pamela Z to visit IUPUI October 27-28

The Department of Music and Arts Technology at IUPUI is excited to announce the first of three 2014-2015 mini-residencies by internationally renowned music technologists/performers. A pioneer in live performance of vocal music with advanced electronics and multi-media, Pamela Z will be coming from San Francisco to the IUPUI campus from October 27 – 28, 2014 for lectures and demonstrations with students from the Department of Music and Arts Technology.  In addition, Pamela Z’s visit will also include outreach within the local Indianapolis community with a special workshop involving Girls Rock, and a concert co-sponsored with the Indianapolis Opera at the Basile Opera Center. The concert at the Basile Opera Center, which will be held on Tuesday, October 28 at 7:30pm, is free to both the IUPUI community and the public!  Additional information about Pamela Z may be found at www.pamelaz.com.
