Golf Classic Raises Scholarship Funds for School of Engineering and Technology Students at IUPUI

September 12, 2016

INDIANAPOLIS -- The School of Engineering and Technology at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis has announced that its 14th annual Student Scholarship Golf Classic will take place Sept. 19 at Broadmoor Country Club. Hosted by the school’s alumni association, the Student Scholarship Golf Classic raises funds to support scholarships for students pursuing an education at IUPUI in the engineering and technology fields. In 2015, the Golf Classic raised more than $19,000 to support these scholarships.

Sponsorship opportunities include corporate and hole sponsorships, playing in the tournament, or sponsoring a student to participate. Gifts to the Student Scholarship Golf Classic benefit the school’s general scholarship fund at the IU Foundation. A silent auction will take place as well. For more information about sponsorships, contact Leslie Bowles at labowles@iupui.edu.

The Student Scholarship Golf Classic will take place from 12:30-7 p.m., and registration is still open. Nestled in the heart of Indianapolis, Broadmoor, 2155 Kessler Blvd. W. Dr., was designed by famous course architect Donald Ross and has been host to the PGA Champions Tour and many other national events.
