A PDM based system that integrates CAD/CAM/AE was developed. It can manage HEV design and simulation data and allow seamless share and exchange of product data by  integrated the design and simulation software with the data libraries (such as libraries for engine, motor, gears). 

We use IMAN, a PDM system as the data management and application integration framework. The interfaces between the PDM system and design and simulation module were developed.
