ME 310: Fluid Mechanics (4 cr.)

Laboratory

Outcomes:  After completion of this course, the students should be able to:

 1. Measure static pressure in fluid flows. [b, k4]

 2. Measure hydrostatic and hydrodynamic forces and verify experimental results with theory. [b, a4, k4]

3. Measure head losses in pipe flows and apply the Bernoulli equation and control volume concepts to analyze data. [b, a4, k4]

4. Work in teams and write individual laboratory reports to document experiments and analyses. [b, d, g, k4]
