BATTLEBOT PROJECT

As an extension of their design projects in the capstone design course ME 462 in Fall 2001, the students of mechanical engineering together with other students from the School of Engineering and Technology, IUPUI, have decided to construct their designed robot and compete at national competitions. The design incorporates differential motion to maneuver the robot itself, which makes the robot very unique and competitive. As of February 20, 2002, the IUPUI Battlebot Team, thus formed, has received partial funding from the department and the school, and is seeking for additional support and participation. If you are interested in supporting the Battlebot activity, you may contact the team leader Mark Jennings at mjenning@iupui.edu .

More information on the activities of the team is available on the IUPUI Battlebot Web site. Technical details on the early design projects are available on the Senior Design Day page.
