Dr. Razi Nalim was presented the Abraham Max Award . This award recognizes outstanding reasearch by any full-time faculty member. Criteria includes, but is not limited to, funded research grants, both internal and external; published articles and books detailing research results or course program development; program development, particularly in new technological directions.
Dr. Amir Naghdi was presented the Outstanding Associate Faculty Award . This award recognizes an outstanding associate faculty member in the Purdue School of Engineering & Technology. Criteria includes evidence of service to the department; activities related to the improvement of teaching; student ratings; peer review; letters of recommendation; and has taught a minimum of two sections during the last two academic years. Other areas of consideration include published works; extracurricular activities; community service; and special honors.
Ray Fiechter, B.S. Mechanical Engineering, 1971, received the Distinguished Alumnus/Alumna Award . This award is presented by the Purdue School of Engineering & Technology Alumni Association to a graduate of the school in recognition of outstanding achievement in the field of engineering or technology, in the practice of his or her profession, or in service to the community.
