The emphasis in the Architectural Technology program is on basic engineering principles of mechanics, surveying, residential and commercial construction drawings, mechanical and electrical systems in buildings, and materials testing.

Careers in Architectural Technology

Graduates of the two-year Associate Degree in Architectural Technology are prepared to work in the areas of architectural drafting and detailing, simple structural design, planning, estimating, inspection and sales architectural, engineering or interior design firms; building mechanical or electrical design firms; materials manufacturing and distributing firms, and construction firms.
