Up to 35 arguments may be passed to a macro. They are numbered sequentially from 1 through 9 followed by a through z corresponding to their position in the invocation line.

The above macro is called with the macro name followed by two arguments. In the above example the two arguments are memory locations. The invocation to move data from a memory location called firstLocation to secondLocation could be as follows:
