Analog-to-Digital Converter (ATD)
The M68HC12B has a built-in A/D converter (ATD) with
- 8 channels,
- 10 bits/channel,
- multiplexed input, and
- ± 2 LSB accuracy.
The ATD uses the successive approximation method.
Pins used are AN0 through AN7 (shared with Port AD).
Two pins, VRH and VRL, are used for high and low voltage references, respectively.
Analog voltage of VRL is converted to $00.
Analog voltage of VRH is converted to $FF.
