Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI)
The Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) is a full duplex synchronous data transfer protocol.
SPI has three signals:
- slave-in-master-out, and
SPI data transfer follows the rising edge or falling edge of the clock.
The user can select the edge of the clock to be used for data transfer. SPI supports the transfer of different word lengths.
