The interrupt vector table contains a list of 16-bit addresses corresponding to starting addresses of interrupt service routines.
Priorities can be assigned to some interrupts.
Some interrupts can be enabled or disabled.
Enabling, disabling, and changing priorities is done by writing to the approriate registers for the specific interrupt.
For time critical applications, the overhead due to pushing and popping values to/from the stack must be considered.
